Partners

There are only two Management Council’s in the United Kingdom:

· Wales Management Council

· Management and Leadership Network (MLN) in Northern Ireland.

The Wales Management Council and MLN have a similar relationship to and financial support from their respective governments, and their Board and executive structure are almost identical.

Bill Manson, the Chief Executive of MLN, and Christopher Ward both took up their appointments within a month of each other in 2000, and have built up a close working relationship since then.

The issues relating to management and leadership development in Northern Ireland and Wales are very similar, and there is huge advantage in working together to solve common problems. This partnership provides mutual support to develop initiatives that are often in advance of similar developments in other parts of the UK.

Immediate evidence of this are the strong links built into to this website to MLN, and we are grateful for their permission to use material they have developed.

We have reciprocated by giving MLN free access to our own reports and development material.
