The 'new' M&L Standards, which were approved in November 2004, describe the level of perfromance expected in employment for a range of management and leadership functions/activities (as shown in the diagram below). NOS M&L provide access to practical and well designed guidelines on how to achieve high quality management and leadership for their businesses and industries. The standards are aimed directly at businesses, funding bodies, HR professionals, trade unions and individual managers and leaders.
